They are playing with their off-season team, Crossfire. A collection of mostly Bayport and ESM girls who have played together for years regardless of club affiliation (many girls played on this team since before they played travel ball). A Bayport Youth lax coach organizes them (his daughter is on the team, and his other daughters are all great players, and they usually play when their isn't a conflict from either club).

No conspiracy here, this team also played in the top guns fall tournaments. So they are spreading the love evenly.

Say what you want but that will become an issue, its nonsense they are put into tournament as a YJ team and I cannot believe BS and SS will want these kids to play for and line CR pocket in the off season, look what happened to TG at the 2020 and 2019 team. Essentially the Tg kids on that team are at a tryout for YJ and CR will make sure to take the ones she wants .Even better another YJ daddy coach to join the ranks, how are all these parent coaches even qualified to be girls lax coaches .
The dad does not coach for yellow jackets, he coaches for the Town team in the town in which the majority of the girls come from. He is a good person and before these girls were old enough for travel he got them together to play in some tournaments. These girls have gone to various clubs (TG and YJ). He is just trying to get the girl's more games. Do not vilify this man for creating opportunities. The topic of which club you play for is never an issue and never comes up when these girls play together, from him. These girls have become friends and may want to continue to play with their friends in club, thus they switch.

Also none of these girls have a signed contract directing them to who they can and can't play with. Outside of their first commitment being to play for their club team in the 5 summer tourns. that they have with their club and when their off season team is at a tourn and competing against their club, they are expected to play for their club. But if their club is not at a tourn who cares who they play for. That is a families decision, not Carol's or Bill's

Then why put them in under YJ banner and not just as a Crossfire team with no affiliation to a club. Say what you want but if you think CR would allow kids to play for TG you are wrong. TG has now become the minor league affiliate of YJ, don't worry TG players maybe someday you will get called up to the big leagues.

Bingo, just like the Lady Rebels. There have not been any TG tourneys this fall so perhaps you mean the Lacrosse by 3 Hofstra 7v7 events. Also, the 21 girls listed do not all come from that town. It presents poorly playing across travel teams and it also prevents current YJ Blue players from being with their teammates for this fall tourney.

Quite the opposite, yellow jackets were not bringing any 2021 teams to this tourny, period. Exactly why teams like crossfire and rebels exist, to keep the girls playing at tournaments that the clubs don't go to or bring them to. CR must be ecstatic these kids can't get enough lax, every event gives them experience and makes them better players, thereby making her yj teams better. BS fought every step of this extra lax, foolishly, now all his best players in all the young age groups left. If I were a club director I would encourage every girl on every team to get involved in this type of stuff.

Nice story, but not accurate. There were/are enough 2021 YJ players to go as one team, I count approx. 17 going on a team to Prime Time Young Guns and heard a couple of other players tried to register but the roster was full. They were not originally going as 2021 because the 2020 group was/is supporting the 2019s who were/are short and the remainder of 2020s were/are mixed with the 2021s as two teams. Simply look at the current rosters on the web site.
