So the TG team has been cut down by the relentless poaching. Parents make the best choice for their kids. Don't concern yourself with us. We will be just fine with girls that can compete and parents that have class. Really??? Jump to yj a program that dessimated and then cannabalized its own team and girls to become the uber lax team.... To do what??? Take over the world?? Enjoy your daughter's childhood summer days as you battle through the back biting, insults and being out maneuvered by them all. Girls that are coming are great. Good kids and GREAT lax players. Someone's got to go? Will it be your child? There is no solidarity in that club. It's all about the "me!" Tough mentality in a team sport. Have fun storming the castle as you each maneuver to cut another down. Just be sure that when you step on their backs, they stay face down so they don't know who it came from.
Relentless poaching is a little dramatic. You know those kids left because of their own reasons , if you think anyone associated with YJ actively recruited any of them other than friends they have that play YJ you are delusional . Those kids and parents believe YJ offers more opportunities for their kids than TG so they did what they feel is best for their kids. Say what you want but if your kid is a top player you want them on a top team which it appears the YJ teams will continue to be , seems as if TG now heading the way of Liberty. YJ will not be for everyone as those top teams will be highly competitive to make and to stand out on. Many of the better second team kids left at the 2020 age as they saw the writing on the wall but now seems they will be replaced with top team kids being moved down or TG kids coming over.
Most parents and kids are dialed into the happenings mainly on their own team, the scary thing here is when you take a step back and look at the big picture, especially at the younger ages, all the teams at the young ages lost their best players and multiple other black players. These are the kids and parents who are very dialed into skill training, development and know the ins and outs of lacrosse. Why are they all walking away from spots on the black team? You can argue that they are not the better players, tell us that they are ball hogs and the team is better by subtraction, tell us that parents are nightmares.... tell us whatever you need to in order to sleep at night. But the undeniable fact is the TG lost alot of talent that will not be replaced and the teams and the club will be weaker next year.
More reason for you to be happy where you are and leave us alone. Why do you care? aren't you happy in YJ land?
