It is a school with a big choice of majors, perhaps you get some decent athletic money. Although expensive, they do offer great academic scholarships if you have decent grades. Perhaps you want to stay close to home and play. Also, perhaps you want to play D1 lacrosse in a very competitive league (CAA). Perhaps you want to play on a team with a smaller sized roster compared to many others. Perhaps Hofstra lacrosse fits your skill level. Perhaps you and your family really like the coach and believe in her...etc. There are at least (8) reasons.

Look what happened at Louisville this summer. Stuff like this happens. Be happy with your decision and make sure it is a school you want to be at if you were not playing lacrosse.

Now, we know the person who wrote this original post does not hate Hofstra because they failed an anthropology course back in the day. For some reason they hate everything related to TG and the family. Move on...this is getting so old. The immaturity of adults on this site is extraordinary.
