Great to see info put up by SAT1234, agree or disagree with it.

There is so much complaining about "selected" team only having girls from certain clubs. Is there some truth to it, of course there is. Youth sports is a crazy world, but us as parents only need to do what is best for our kids. Clubs know this and use it to their advantage. The grass is always greener on the other side.

If your kid is the top 1 or 2 players on her team, then you should be looking for a better team. It's how youth sports works today. If your daughter is a 2024, too late. If you don't live in an area with several club lacrosse clubs, not an option. ** The top talent finds its way to the top clubs, it's more true today than in years past. ** Just being on the top YJ, M&D, Skywalker, etc team doesn't automatically make you a top 100 player, but you are a darn good player! It's not rigged when the "selected" teams have mostly girls from the established clubs. It's not a conspiracy that most of the top college programs are made up of girls from established clubs. There are exceptions to every rule, but I am speaking for the majority of girls. If you live in a Mid-Atlantic state or the east coast and complain about rigged teams, the problem is with you. Not playing high level college lacrosse is not the end of the world, let your girl go where she wants, enjoy the ride and be happy that you get to spend the time with you terrific young lady! It goes by too fast!

Recruiting is a bumpy ride for everyone, even the top players.
