Fake news

It could be. Just simply stating what I read. Sorry if I offended you buddy

Its always the same year after year. The top girls play and they are seen. The rest are thrown in from time to time to keep the parents happy. The top players (like 12 girls) get committed and then the claws come out. The once die hard parents who thought their kid would be able to go wherever she’s wanted because she wore a certain jersey and traveled every weekend to MAYBE see some playing time is now slapped into reality once 11th
Grade comes. So now they are scrambling and don’t understand why their child has not seen much interest because they are on a top ranked team and their once loved club/team/coach is now horrible and it’s so political. The main thing is for your child to feel confident and if your on a team that doesn’t play your child or if they do play her but it’s only for a couple of minutes here and there you should be really thinking about what that’s doing to your daughter and her confidence in her playing. She has to feel so good hearing her die hard parents brag about the rankings and the team knowing she did not help get the team there. It’s a game and it’s about your child playing a game, learning and having fun! The key word here is PLAYING if your not on the field your not going to get better and your daughter is not going to be seen no matter what rankling you’re team is. More parents should try to look at the bigger picture and realize that the best team for your child to be on is one that values them as a player not a bench warmer. Also see how the 23’s are quiet right now. Well that’s because the top (maybe 15 girls) are all visiting schools right now while the others are waiting by the phone. Sad but true so if your the top player or a coaches daughter you should of course stay if your not you should run. If the coaches didn’t believe enough in your kid to play them do you really think they are going to help you play in college? Your better off being at a smaller tournament playing in the game then watching the game at the biggest tournaments.

Yeah, they are known as Magnet Parents. Too concerned about what’s sticking on their the rear of their cars, than about the true advancement of their daughters. Realize it’s hard to leave a club with a lot of vested time, but sometimes just need to take a leap of faith. Make sure to investigate the potential new club, coaches and culture. Sometimes not always greener, but sometimes it is.
