Spoke to a 91 parent who said that the bandits crew has steam rolled 91 and taken over. They’re practicing in stony brook in a park they don’t have permits for and kids are doing a lot of standing at practices. According to the 500 91 email blasts I get a week, I thought BS was growing the girls program, not slapping their name onto the bandits management.
Given the two clubs the merger was always going to be very difficult. But in all honesty 91 may very well have folded its girls side if not for a merger of some sort. They were in a bad way.
They have never been a girls club… the bandits merger was a last minute saving grace to keep the girls side alive. I’m sure they gave them whatever they wanted to keep the girls side alive
