Politics are at play in every walk Of life!! A lot of times who you know, opens more doors than what! It starts young in youth sports as well.
Just how many "political" spots do you believe college coaches are giving out? Most of the top programs usually bring in 8 or 9 players per year spots are very limited, they need to bring in the best players that they can. Believe what you will but there is not a lot of politics going on here.
Maybe not for the very top players who get in on pure talent. However, when you get to the next level after the top talent where way more girls fall, the talent is pretty similar and this is where politics come into play. Because, you could switch any number of girls that are all similar in talent level. Then it really does help in “who you know” and connections for this group! Which is most!
