We're new to recruiting. My daughter gets emails for camps at high academic schools. I know they're from mailing lists, but are they blasted to everyone who attends certain showcases/tournaments? Or do they select players based on profile criteria (automated searches) or observation from attending these showcases/tournaments?
Just trying to get an idea how broad/targeted these emails are.
It varies event by event. From our past experience, the high academic camps tends to be a bit more selective, at least using GPA as a key search element.
