So the top few Jester girls are competing for 9 spots with the 30 top middies on the 3 YJ teams, not the worst few girls on the YJ roster. Are they good enough, depends on the talent. The same is true for the other positions. The historically top clubs are often very deep with talent on multiple teams. Example, the M&D red (B) team had a 2024 make the U16 national team! There are great players all over, the team are looking for the top talent.

What a bunch of BS. The roster for the 2024 top team has 23 players 17 Yellow Jackets and 6 Legacy, this is the most political selection process ever. Also, Stop with "30" top middies from YJ, maybe they have 3 or 4 top tier middies (if that). You are correct about one thing though, there are great players everywhere, not just on the two clubs that the team was selected from.

Your statement "The historically top clubs are often very deep with talent on multiple teams." is laughable, it is rare for a good player to not make the clubs top team. We will all see come September who the top talent is, the college coaches from the top college programs will tell us who the top players are. There will not be 23 players from AS 2024 roster heading to Top College Programs, probably less than half will see an offer from a Top college program. Several parents are going to be in for a bit of a surprise when the the recruiting process starts.
