The Athletic Department at the University of Tampa has a full time position for a Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach who will be responsible for a Division II Womens Lacrosse Program within University conference & NCAA Rules and Regulations. This position reports to the Womens Lacrosse Coach.
Responsibilities | Qualifications
R1. Recruiting & assisting in all aspects of evaluating, identifying & recruiting students to The University of Tampa Women's Lacrosse Program. R2. Work with head coach on organizing and developing game & practice plans. R3. On field coaching & directing student athletes at practice. R4. Organizing team travel, fundraising & correspondence.
R5. Monitor & assisting in academic progress of team, including study halls, advising and helping with social issues.
Q1. Bachelor's degree required. Master's preferred. Q2. Knowledge of NCAA rules & regulations. Q3. Knowledge of women's lacrosse rules. Q4. Ability to manage a group of student athletes & command their respect. Q5. Ability to identify quality student athletes. Q6. Ability to work nights, weekends & holidays. Q7. The successful candidate will assist with all areas of the program including recruiting, practice/game planning and coaching, individual skill development, and administrative tasks. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience; six years experience playing and/or coaching at the college level or higher; excellent organization and communication skills, and the ability to recruit effectively within the Ivy League philosophy of no athletic scholarships and highly selective admissions standards.

To assist the head coach in planning, coaching, recruiting, administering, and promoting the mens lacrosse program within NCAA, Ivy League, and institutional standards. | Strong knowledge of lacrosse skills and strategies in one or more areas (e.g., offense, defense, etc.). Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse community.
The Women's Lacrosse Coach is responsible for the overall coaching, planning and direction of Drexel's Division I Women's Lacrosse Program.
Bachelor's degree req. | Intercollegiate playing experience & coaching or equivalent experience req. | Experience playing lacrosse at the collegiate level. | Demonstrated ability to teach & instruct the skills & strategies of WLax. | An understanding of the role of intercollegiate sports in a dynamic univ. setting. | Strong written, organization & communication skills. | Proven ability to provide strong leadership in managing the complexities of a team. | Successful background coaching lacrosse, preferably at the collegiate level.
Responsible for assisting the Head Coach with all aspects of program management. In addition to coaching duties, this position involves extensive recruiting responsibilities, office administration, planning, scouting, counseling of student-athletes, alumni and development functions. Ability to motivate and counsel recruiting and team members. The work is performed under general supervision and reports to the Head Coach.
A Bachelors Degree is required and 2 years to 3 years of lacrosse playing/coaching experience or equivalent combination of education and
experience,preferably at the collegiate level. Candidates must be able to motivate recruits and student lacrosse players for high levels of success in a
nationally competitive Division I program. Candidates should also be able to motivate alumni and friends to support the program enthusiastically. Ability
to counsel and advise students is essential. Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills are required. Ability and willingness to work
evenings/weekends/holidays and travel as required by competitive and practice schedules. Valid drivers license required.

Camp Chipinaw and Silver Lake are traditional co-ed Residential Summer Camps located in the Catskill Mountains of New York, 2 hours NW of NYC. Established in 1926, Chipinaw offers a wide variety of arts, sports, adventure, and water activities for campers interested in a full summer camp. Silver Lake, started in 2004, offers the same experience but with 3, 4, and 7 week summer sessions. Our campers and staff come from across the country and around the world to be part of a thrilling summer experience.
Camp Chipinaw is looking for motivated coaches to join our staff for the 2018 summer season. Spend two months in the beautiful Catskill Mountains of New York teaching and being a role model to campers between the ages of 7-16. Full room and board provided plus competitive salary.
We are still looking for two lacrosse instructors for this summer. Your roles would consist of designing daily lesson plans for 50 minute sessions, coming up with creative games and drills, and ensuring that the campers are having fun while learning the game. Both instructors will also run our Lacrosse Elite program, plus help and run inter-camps & tournaments throughout the summer. You would also be a bunk counselor and get to experience all that a traditional summer camp has to offer.

Head JV coaching candidates wanted. Depew High School varsity is now a sanctioned school sport transitioning to Section 6, while JV and Modified will remain in the Independent League but will enter Section 6 play in 2019. Our program has maintained 60-65 players for the past four seasons. Openings are volunteer coaching-only positions with a travel stipend. We are looking for coaches who are passionate about teaching and growing the game at the school and in the community.
Our programs include 10 clinics for beginners to experienced players from December to February, a traditional high school spring season season from March to May, and summer (tournaments to be determined).

The Nassau County Long Island Lacrosse Officials Association aka NCLOA conducts a Candidates Class for those interested in becoming a NY State certified boys high school lacrosse official. The next class is scheduled for January 2018. We need new officials starting in 2018 who have AVAILABILITY during the week to work Nassau County BOCES boys public school lacrosse games. This is a great way to continue your love for the game of lacrosse and earn additional income. Our mission by contract, is with the NY State Public High School Athletic Association and Nassau BOCES and it is to recruit and develop officials to work at the public high school and junior high level. Due to a high demand, we have a shortage of officials. WE DO NOT RECRUIT TO TRAIN OFFICIALS FOR TOURNAMENTS OR OTHER ORGANIZATIONS.
