The vast majority of the players ranked in the Top 30 - 40 go to the Top 10 to 15 programs in the country and most of them get on the field right away.
You obviously have not been around the game long. Hope the koolaid tastes good.

Every year when IL Rankings come out there are people like you who mock the rankings / players.

The reality is that IL does a very good job. To piggy back a couple of previous posts, here is how the 2015 Top 30 and Watch List did in college.

26 colleges were represented.
16 - 17 were traditional Top 20 Programs.
6 - 7 were programs that are in the next tier, they are very competitive and Top 20 from time to time.
Harvard, Brown, Vanderbilt & Louisville have not been top 20 recently I believe.

48 became "regulars/starters" they play in every game.
24 earned All-Conference.
16 earned All-American.
23 named Captain.
7-8 played a reserve role.
5-6 may have had career ending injuries.

Obviously the numbers may be off by 1 or 2 but you get the idea.

Good Job Inside Lacrosse and Congratulations to the players.
