It is very difficult to determine top player -is it always a middie , GK or is a defender on great team that barely plays D all game the best. It shakes out in college -most super stars don't make it past fall ball unless they are OK with riding the bench. Very few freshman at MD, UNC, BC will see the field.
As a GK parent, if you have a great team, you’re not seeing many shots… but on the flip side you’re getting great exposure bc of that team. Usually have to go down to maryland (prepared as heck) to face some shots. Wonder if sometimes better off being on a B team. Curios if any other GK parents on the board who could share their experience.
