It's so sad that the club system has become so bad that doing your job gets praise. It's not rocket science. Communicate!! Treat families with honesty. Treat them as customers/clients. (The are spending a lot of money for a service). Give options, don't fomo them into doing things they may not want to do. Focus on training! Practices are the only way to develop individuals and teams. Do these few simple things and families will be happy and the drama meter drops way down. Thank you Coach T.
