Exactly it was d1 coaches who saw her play and wanted her personally at camps or more info about her I guess. Older daughter has similar as a sophomore.

Somebody is obviously trying to make themselves seem important. Obvious violation of NCAA rules.

This is not a violation. My daughter just went through recruiting. Prior to Sept. 1, several coaches communicated with us through our club director. We knew exactly where we stood, and they knew where they stood as well. My daughter also recieved text messages from coaches asking for information. She could not have a back and forth dialog, but it is all completely within the NCAA regulations

Complete violation. Stop lying now. Schools know this isn’t allowed and wouldn’t risk it.

Not sure about how the rules align with the poster speaking of texting but coaches are very much allowed to text coaches and clubs about players

Coaches are allowed to send some things like questionnaires and camp brochures directly to players. Probably a program telling a club coach they will call a player on 9/1 is allowed. Coaches are not supposed to be telling players and club coaches exactly where someone falls on their list. There are are definitely ways for coaches to demonstrate very serious interest without breaking the rules, though. Whether some break the rules, I don't know, I'm sure it happens, but when's the last time you heard of a women's lax program being punished by the NCAA for recruiting violations? There is not big money involved like football and basketball so I doubt the NCAA cares a whole lot unless it's blatant.
