There is no loophole. . . u13 eligible player is u13 and meets tourney requirements. These parents didn’t choose the 9/1/05 cutoff to game the system for their kids. But, are supporting their kids dream to play in a great tourney and their kids are finally the oldest on the field. Something that rarely happens for fall babies. Parents that complain are probably nervous for their kid’s playing time. News flash. The last few final WSYL games I watched, there was very few subs going in. So, unless your kid is #1-3 attack and defense or #1-6 middle - they are just along for the ride anyway. This bashing and complaining is entertaining.


Yo. Daddy. If you’re “just stating the facts” you need to state ALL the facts. What you are describing are pickup teams which aren’t “teams” at all. Or, adding ringers to teams, for a particular tournament, which is unethical, slimey and cheating. Adding players to a team that are not part of that team, solely for the purpose of winning a particular tournament, is cheating. Period. You really don’t get that????
