2024 Flash roster for 91 is out. Only 20 kids on that team.
Basically, 91accepted everyone at tryouts. To make sure they make the most money they put 29 on Orange. Hoping most will accept. They figure a good amount of kids wont accept on Flash, so if they get 14-16 for that team they may just flounder through a season with it undermanned, so they can make some money. Or if they get less, they will let parents move up to the Orange team to be on an overloaded team, so they can keep the money. Or when people find out last minute Flash is not matetializing they will be left to scramble to find a team for their kid.
So your choices are - overloaded Orange team - floundering Flash team - or scrambling at last minute to find a team
Your crazy if you pay for Orange or Flash.
The Flash team is going to be based out east. Sachem area. Trying to have a presence out there to compete with 24. Empire and now rebels. I’m not sure if it’s a 3rd team or a 2nd B team. Will have to wait and see.
That makes no sense. Rebels is not out east. They are in Huntington. 24 lacrosse is in nassau county.
And all teams travel to tournaments all over LI and out of state, so compete against each other.
And noone at tryouts was told that if they lived out East they would be put on Flash and not Orange. Get real. Flash is bottom kids on their list at tryouts.
