A parent with A player here (that actually gets good time). I am dreading the cost and expense and waste of July 4 weekend with this Denver BS. That being said, I cannot tell the coach that we are out, because then won't touch the field until after. Its a joke. Tuition of the team, plus all the tournaments and hotels, plus Denver. 10k. Easily. But hey, free NB cleats.
Not a waste unless your team has absolutely no shot at getting to the championship. Then, I would probably agree with you. Although I will say, everyone I talk to that have done it, say it is the best experience in youth lacrosse. That's from both parents that have made the championship and those that have not. Extremely well run event, like no other.
