Sometimes people get the short end of the stick. Happens all the time. Example: Two HS All Americans go to a top D1 school. They both have extraordinary talent and are for all practical purposes equally talented. But after two years, one of them gets an enormous amount of playing time while the other gets none. Why? The coach simply likes one better than the other. Not fair, but that’s the way it works. If your kid is the one with no playing time. What are you going to tell him?? Stick out the next two years on the bench, or transfer to an equally good team and get a fresh new start with a new coach? Exactly!
