Need more age based play. WSYL was a great event. Super teams with single and double hold backs proves little. Would love to see more age or birth year based tournaments pop up. Way more fun and tighter competition overall. Congrats to WP and Taz. Well deserved.
No doubt about this! The cheating is getting worse every season it seems like. More age based play would level the playing field & stop the cheating. Stop using kids from older grades to compete in 2024.
Actually it’s no worse than its ever been. MD teams have always done this, you just didn’t know it. Having said that, it will get even worse next year as all of the 8th grade private kids repeat 8th grade. That’s the year when a ton of kids will do it.
