so if my son is born Dec 20 2005 he should play in 8th grade even though he is a 7th grader,,Is that what you ALL are saying??????
Make an age rule and stick with it. US lax needs set age rules put and enforced in place or there is anarchy. We all know there is way to much cheating in regards to age going on. It really is the only bad thing about the sport. I am sympathetic about your sons December DOB my son was born Oct 06, and plays 2024. I feel you.
Its simple. Set the date as 8/15- 8/14 of the following year. This way it covers all states. And kids can play based on thise birthdates, or the few in NY with DOB from 8/15 to December can play up to stay in their grade.
