The girl is a good goalie, no doubt, but after a half hour of being pelted with shots at Legacy tryouts, she needed a timeout in the shade. Having her stick to grade base looks like a better plan for her or any child.
Not sure what your benchmark is for goalie performance, but it’s obviously extremely low. There are a lot of very good goalies on top ‘24 teams. The young lady isn’t even average, among the ‘24 goalies that I watched all summer. In fact she is far below.
