It is different in high school at the junior & senior level. Kids, by that time, have grown & gone through puberty. At this level, when you have an older 14 year old kid playing against young 13 year olds or even 12 year olds, its not fair. The older 14 year old will prevail everytime just through speed & size - talent doesn't matter.
2024 should be 12 & 13 year olds.

Here is the answer from the madlax instagram account to this trolling line of questioning. "In the United States & Canada elite teams play in the best events as grade based teams. That will not change as colleges recruit by grade. No college coach in the world checks date of birth when they recruit our Madlax boys. We will never deny we have re-classed players on our teams but we play by the rules so it makes no sense to even discuss age. By 12th grade most top lacrosse club teams nationally have up to 15 re-classed players on their teams. So, please just stop discussing age and making excuses in attempt to make the 2024 team accomplishments seem any less incredible." -gomadlax ig account
