That Rocky Point dad has been trying to talk his son onto an A team for years. He's a B+, maybe A- player, but that dad can't admit it, so he shops him around every year. He never makes an A team on his own, so dad makes the calls, and begs people to give him a chance on A. It's sad. Poor kid will probably quit soon anyway.

Who's going after the kids? It's the dad who's being criticized, not his son. Saying the kid is A-, or B+, is going after him? There's nothing wrong with that in my book. In fact it would be a compliment for many kids. Most kids are B players, whether their parents realize it or not, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that!
