N= just a few, but I have several good and pretty close friends who played at UVA. One was a team captain who get in with a 980 on the two main sections of the SAT and is now living in his parent's basement.

I know others who are working as club coaches, reps in the lacrosse business and loving what they are doing. Did they have to go to UVA or an Ivy to coach high school lacrosse or be a summer club coach?

I think one of the fallacies about getting into Holkins, UVA, UNC, less so Duke is while the schools may be good as a student athlete do you have the bandwidth to take advantage of the academic opportunities and in some cases the coaches will flat out tell you, don't plan on majoring in this or that.

Now there are grads from those schools doing great things as well and they are great opportunites, but many don't or are not able to take advantage of landing at an elite academic school.
