All the programs are ranked at the beginning of the season and divisions are made based off the rankings regardless of Class (A,B,C). Typically makes for more competitive league games throughout the season.
How are teams that make the playoffs determined ,obviously teams in the same class will be playing completely different teams during the regular season.
There are 5 conferences. All the teams in the first conference make the playoffs in their respective Class. Conf II gets a certain amount of teams based on record and strength of schedule. That formula continues for Conf III - V.
