Allot of parents actually believe in their daughters imaginary D1 bound world that the reason they are playing up is because the team relies on that specific player , and more so the parents dictate to the coaches on where their daughter should be playing !
That's what we call weak coaching abilities at its best !

This can all be done at the age appropriate bracket , when they get into the Varsity level chances are they will supercede the ones who been there all along with minimal playtime.

Particularly at certain positions such as attack, goalie, etc. The only way to get better is to play in games and live action. All too often, I see parents make a stink and accept nothing less than having their kids on the "better" team, yet they don't play. This in no way helps the player better their skills and develop as a player.
