West Islip is hosting Hauppauge today. These two teams seem to be having great seasons, quietly. How good are these teams? Can we please get back to what this topic was supposed to be? Thanks.
West Islip has beaten everyone in D1. They haven't blown away the top teams but have beaten them all. Hauppauge has a couple of losses (to Sachem East and Northport) which makes you question where they really are. But they have some impressive wins (vs CSH, Bayshore and West Bab) which also makes you question where they really are... Should be an exciting game.
Heard from several spectators that this was best lax game they had ever seen. Crazy back and forth affair. Clean and physical (only one or two cards issued). Four period OT affair with WI pulling out the victory after illegal stick took away what would have been game winning goal at end of regulation for Hauppauge. (What a set of Lax Balls on those officials for calling that!!!)
This week's games and Playoffs should be exciting!

Not sure which Smithtown East poster put themselves above Bay Shore. SE has Brentwood no quality Points and then West. BS has HHH then WM. I think the Brentwood game leaves East behind Bay Shore.
