In many districts kids have to wait their turn. Most Varsity coaches know what they have coming up in the system. Believe me if your daughter was that good she will be on the coaches radar. The Varsity coach will ask the AD to selectively classify a kid only when they know that that kid will get time on the field. Varsity Coaches are loyal to their upperclassmen. A good program sees the value in rewarding the players that are older and have earned the right to stand on the Varsity sideline. Most selectively classified kids should be 8th graders that get to play a year on JV. Unless your daughter is the next coming of SS then sit back and have her wait her turn.
