I would make the argument that the bigger, better schools are a more ideal situation for pulling up a kid. If they are pulling a kid up, it is likely that the player is very strong even compared to the current roster of what you would call a powerhouSe program. If a weak program pulls a kid up because they are better than a few of the weak players that she can outplay, that is not an indication the kid is ready to play at that level. It should be a rare occurrence in any case, not a yearly thing much less multiple kids on a yearly basis. I think this thread started out talking about several kids that the parents were complaining should be moved up, doesn't sound like a good idea.
