Disagree....
There is far less "live" game action and pressure only practicing. You cannot replace real pressure situations in real games. Playing everyday will expose the player to pressure situations and decision making opportunities every game. At the outside chance an opportunity comes up that the player plays on the "better" team, it will most likely be when the score is extremely lopsided one way or the other. No pressure situations. How does that help develop the player?
Playing on the "lower" team will provide challenges and improve the player for the future.
