I think it's harder for the teams Northport beat as a #5 seed to get to the finals. Middle Country was by far the better team yesterday but Northport did beat teams to get to that final. That's the way it goes.

For those booster club leaders and travel parents who want to box out every non travel lacrosse player because its not their #1 sport, go check out probably the best kid in the country from BC who is a part time player due to playing her #1 sport which is hockey. Just because some kids don't drink the kool aid and travel the east coast every summer weekend doesn't mean they cant play or that they don't love to play.

BC Girls was awesome


Kenzie Kent is the best player in the country. She is also an amazing hockey player. It is somewhat wrong to call her number one sport growing up hockey, although now in college it is. Growing up she played plenty of lacrosse and did play club etc. And yes, she played for Mass Elite. A Massachusetts kid. A lot of bashing has happened on here about Mass Elite and Massachusetts players. She is the best recent example of some great players that are coming out of the New England area. Congrats to her and a gutsy effort by the BC team. One of the best performances ever in the NCAA finals and it's her "2nd" sport. Wow!
