When all is said and done none of it matters. If your daughter enjoys playing and gets along with her teammates you should be happy. There are very few good HS coaches, the competition is weak and it has no impact with respect to college recruiting. We read on this site about the 8th and 9th graders playing major roles on their varsity teams, we see girls who play for B and C level club teams excelling on their HS team
and we see below average players receiving accolades. It is HS lacrosse and it will go by quickly. If your daughter is a high caliber player and has aspirations of competing at the next level good for her. If your daughter enjoys playing and is having a good experience in high school thats great as well.

For those of you obsessed with stats, recognition and accolades please realize that it will all be over very soon and nobody will care or remember that your daughter had a bunch of goals and was in the paper. Many of the HS heros become college zeros and they have a tough time dealing with it and they stop playing. If the girl is a stud on a top club team and excels when competing against the best competition chances are she will do just fine at the next level. If you are one of those people who wonder why your daughter does so well on her HS team but not so great vs tough competition you might be in for a surprise.

Enjoy the ride because it will go by quickly.

Signed the guy who has a kid with no accolades but believes she is a stud in the big games. Good for the kids who have gotten and are going to get the accolades many of which are well deserved . Many will be successful in college many will not ,depends on many factors , skill level being just a part of it.
