It's a long drive back and forth to Suffolk County every Sunday morning for YJ practice - I'd suggest staying local for travel lax if you live in Nassau. Your daughter is either going to be good enough to play on her HS team or she won't. And cracking the starting line-up at schools like GC and Manhasset is tough. Very tough and it wont matter what club she plays for.



It will make a difference. Liberty is a Manhasset club with other towns who also play there. For the most part, Manhasset girls don't play elsewhere but you see girls from all the other towns you mentioned at other clubs as well. Manhasset girls don't leave but girls from the other towns move to other clubs. I truly believe Liberty tries not to be preferential to Manhasset players & families but it is all too intertwined. Take the HS coaching job out of the equation it is a whole different ball game. It might not happen right away but you will see more our of town players at Liberty and more Manhasset players will check out other clubs.
