Concussion is caused by the brain rattling around inside the skull. As such, you can see that a helmet is not going to alleviate that motion at all. Concussions happen often when one's head is whiplashed, not from a blow.




You are correct, the headgear will not prevent a concussion.
Like I said in my previous post, no helmet is designed to prevent a concussion. I think Cascade states it's not designed to prevent a concussion. I think It will help youth level kids who get hit with an errant pass or shot.
