If your daughter is that good she will be noticed and recognized for her talent. If she's not maybe she is not as good as mommy & daddy thinks. Its not all politics but as long as you keep thinking that and telling your daughter that she'll never get better.
It's not all politics, but if you don't think there is favoritism, nepotism and politics involved, you're naive. That shouldn't take away from the talented girls who earn awards, but some girls get cheated and some girls receive awards on reputation rather than that season's achievements
