My initial post stated the rule. "may be a goalie" means not required to have a goalie on the field. If you have another source that says "MUST HAVE ONE ON THE FIELD..." I am open to being corrected because "not all leagues follow NFHS and have their own rules they apply."
It is interesting that some replies to my post thought I took the position that a goalie must be on the field, which is not the case. I am simply stating the rule as it is written. I will leave it up to other posters to work through their comprehension issues and provide the rule to back up their opinions.
