There’s a lot of good lacrosse players playing B level club soccer because they want to play that in HS, and I can tell you that outside of M&D, there are A level lax clubs who allow players to miss fall for other sports.
It’s just reality and no one cares about 7th grade rankings a year later,
The nice thing is, this will all get sorted out over spring and summer.
M&D and Heros are likely going to get knocked off by a team not in the top-5, we will see,
As these girls get older, the likelihood of them losing to a non top 5 team increases. So of course it's possible. Otherwise, why take the field.
But based on what I saw in the fall (and to a lesser extent winter)...I'm not sure this is the year it happens in Maryland. Top 10 nationally...absolutely.
And we know a few girls from M&D and Hero's, and they play soccer and basketball. They miss games. So it's not like they hold their girls hostage from other sports.
