So 33-45% of the Loyola kids wash out too, usually between soph and Jr year.

It happens almost everywhere. But yes, it is much more obvious and apparent in the big programs like Loyola and Calvert Hall. Lots of 26s will hang up the cleats next year. Their "purge year" is upon us. The funnel gets smaller. Gotta make room for all the freshmen.
