Apparently there were 100+ kids at CH yesterday for Varsity tryouts.

It's a college Lacrosse program in a high school. Hat's off to all the boys working their @ss off for a spot on varsity at Calvert Hall this week!!!

And keep working hard for the 60+ that will never see a varsity lacrosse field but were given and bought into the empty promises of playing time and D1 dreams. #CHWAYOVERRECRUIT

LOL....wow, you're just a pathetic and angry wart firmly clinging onto the @ss of delusion.

Boo Hoo!!! My johnny can't make varsity!!! Who can I blame!!!????

Someone needs decaf Btw the guys is right; these schools over recruit and bring in 4,5,6 goalies for instance for a given class with promises of playing time. It’s the politics of the game that parents of freshmen are just starting to see.

Just because a kid is admitted to a given school and plays lacrosse doesn't mean he's recruited to play lacrosse. If your kid goes to one of the MIAA A schools you knew it would be a grind and a long shot for most to get on the field as a varsity player. At least you should have known. Very good players never get much PT and good players sometimes get cut, especially at bigger schools like CHC and LB. Kids who get cut will find another sport like golf, rugby, track, tennis. I bet most of the practice players at Calvert Hall take a great deal of pride for being part their championship teams, as they should. Good luck to all
