Yes, some left to try out elsewhere because they feel the grass is always greener and that their "little Johnny" is All World. They are the parents who were the problem......not the kids. There are politics everywhere. Unfortunately for the kids, the parents are the problem. The kids should be on a team that helps the child learn the game, helps them grow as an individual and as an athlete, as well as make friends and have fun.....Some parents want "the label" of "My son is on [****]"...but is being used as a pawn or doesn't see the field........Good Luck!
