Madlax is legit
Madlax pick up new kids this year?
Maybe 1 or 2, but I think there are three bigger reasons why Madlax is doing well this Spring. First, they are a well coached team with very little turnover. They have had the same coach for three years now and the consistency is paying off. They are clicking as a team. Second, they have always been a younger/smaller, but skilled team. It is kind of like they have been "playing up" the last couple of years. Now that those younger kids are growing and the size gap is closing, they are reaping the rewards. Third, they are finally healthy. Last summer and even this Fall, they were missing several key players. Two of their top scorers broke their arms, and another kid dislocated his shoulder. I am not saying they will beat Hawks this Spring but I think it will be more competitive than in the past.
