Crabs is still the best at putting together teams for recruiting visibility in high school. Not so good at working with developing elementary and middle schoolers.

You say that because those teams were already together before things started to fall apart. If you think kids are going to move to Crabs 2022 for high school you are nuts. That team is toxic and filled with soft kids that are catered to by the club. That is why kids left. Not just RM

I think the Crabs name in the high school recruiters minds will be very high for a long time. You forget that the college coaches do not follow each clubs ups and downs like us parents and locals do. They are aware of the best tournaments to see the best players and the Crabs will be at them. So when your son is in high school and he wants to play for a club at the best events you will take him to the Crabs. Year to year these teams rotate who has the best of the best kids/teams but the parents of great players playing for clubs not at the top events will show up to the crabs tryouts in high school.
Because when your son is a upcoming sophomore or Jr. you care very little about mean coaches and flat brim hats. You just want him playing in the best events with a shot to be seen by the most coaches. Who by the way do not care 1 cent about who wins or loses these games at the high school age.

Putting up with bad coaching and verbal insults for 2 or 3 tournements over 2 summer months in order to get excellent visibility is worth doing in high school. Putting up with it year round for no visibility in middle school doesn't work.
