Yes and No! Disparaging an entire program is most likely a sign of unfairly displaced anger. That's just stupid and easy to spot. There are to many good volunteer coaches, talented players, respectful parents in every program. Each program has its good teams, bad teams, good coaches, bad coaches, good parents, bad parents, etc. However, there are some shady practices, poor conduct and unethical practices as it pertains to youth sports going on at different programs and levels, which people should communicate and help others become aware of. If it is ignored, it will never stop. Some things may be true, some may not, but intelligent people can read, watch and make their own minds up. That is what forums are for! A lot of things happen behind the scenes, at practices and on the sidelines during games, where parents can see actions or results, but not hear the words or fully understand what happened, whether its your team or an opposing team. For club participation competition, total player numbers, demographics, logistics drive tryouts, outside recruiting and ultimately team success. Instruction is being replaced with marketing and that is where uninformed parents wind up placing their players in bad situations. This happens to be a 2022 forum. It is fair game for people to air out dirty laundry from their experiences on 2022 teams or certain coaches. If you are intelligent, you can read it and sift through the s!@# talking and unfair criticism to gather the more important details in an effort to become more informed. Everyone understands that these teams compete at a very high level and that means at some point, you may be faced with a decision to watch your child sit, or move them. When that time comes, you should appreciate some of the information, good or bad that is passed along on here, so you can approach your options with eyes wide-open. Most of this stuff DOES happen in some way shape or form and people should not ignore poor behavior, practices and coaching, simply because their kid starts on one of the top teams at a particular age group. These programs and coaches are responsible for your kids during a very impressionable time of their sports career. Ask them the hard questions, hold them accountable, so they have to break trust in order to deviate from that responsibility, or actually tell you the truth up front. Its not really that hard or painful to read info on here and then go watch a tournament or game where a coach is jumping up and down like a raving lunatic in front of his players, yelling at referees because they ended the game 1 minute early, due to his players getting chippy because they were losing by 4 goals. There are multiple problems going on in that scenario and it should NOT be ignored.

I agree and do use this forum for all of this information. I think the hardest part is people want to stay unknown so they say this team cheats or this coach is a jerk. But they are scared to give real details of the why this is true because they know the people around or on this team will know right away who is typing. So all I ask is people please try to give real reasons why a coach or team is bad or even good not just [ChillLaxin] "they cheat" they are mean" type posts
