You missed the big point here...The other sports parents don't have to pay an extra three years of tuition at 50+K a year and 5K a year of club fees. Many football and basketball parents could not invest that to get a 10% scholarship discount at Swarthmore College. That is why lacrosse remains prominent in the private academies. There is a small pool 1% of parents able to swing that.
