Of course they do. The question was specifically around teams that picked up kids repeating 8th grade. Neither Crabs or FCA did. Hawks is the only team that has new kids on the team that are repeating 8th grade. The Crabs and FCA kids that are older all went to prefirst or started school late.[/quote]

It would seem that way, and I am not defending the practice, but at least when a kid is young, there are many other variables outside of pure athletic advantage...size, maturity, cognitive skills, etc...
