While I agree on one hand that arguing about holdbacks for HS grade teams is somewhat overdone, on the other hand, why even bother having the 2020, 2019, and 2018 divisions then? If it truly doesn't matter, there is no reason to break them up - there should just be a bunch of "HS" divisions by ability, maybe an A, B, and C class to allow for similar scheduling/logistics. Grade/age would be a non-issue - you put a team together of 15 - 18 YOs, and enter them into the appropriate level they can play at. If you argue against complaining about holdbacks but you want grade-based HS divisions, you are talking out both sides of your mouth - you can't have it both ways.
