Above post, you nailed it. And its the parents that never played the game or anything athletically at a high level that are the worst offenders--the ultimate living vicariously guys...
Not sure why the lacrosse world feels that freshman should be playing Varsity. Doesn't happen in other sports. At least not much. When we were in school it was unheard of a freshman football player or basketball player playing up.
