It does not matter anymore - in fact it is better for players not to be on those teams as they get seen as they are actually playing in games. Probably true, only part that could be a problem is the Coaches are generally watching the top teams.


Agreed they start there but they have already been looking at those teams for summer and fall now - most who are going to be picked up "early" have been a
but not true for the second tier 10-20 teams. Why would coaches go back and keep looking at the same 10 kids playing over and over because the team sits all but the top kids? Individual Showcases are also where kids are getting looked at now. The point is that some of the dads are so obsessed about arguing about the top 10 teams, while their kids are not getting all they can from the experience because they are sitting the bench. High school is very different from youth and most coaches are not really interested if you are on a top 10 team because they know that the starter on a 10-25 teams are generally more skilled than the bottom 50% of the top teams.
