And these sports are stronger because of it.

Toughen up and stop crying. Edge is playing by the rules, every team has older players, including yours. The boys are in HS now, give it a break. if you don't like it don't play lacrosse. About a third of the college freshman lax players I know have a 20 year old roommate. Sounds like badminton may be a better option for your son. But you'd probably find something to complain about there too

I always love how the cheap holdback parents don't want to hear that they are the problem with lacrosse right now. They want us all to forget that their kid can't compete on age. My 2020 who just turned 14 does fine against the holdbacks. If I dropped him to 2021 he would be a dominant force. He does it with skill. Most holdbacks do it with size and physical maturity. If your holdback is so great, play in a varsity division. Show your kid can play with older kids. Right now all you show is your kid can't cut it, unless he is 1-2 years older. Sad!

They also don't want to admit that the problem didn't just emerge when the boys are in 9th or 10th grade - these same boys have been playing down for a number of years prior to that, and THAT is the real problem.
