All of the Edge team is born in 2001, as are a lot of 2020 players. Canadians naturally graduate in 2019 but take a PG year after high school, so they can get to a better school. Many of the kids could get recruited 2019 but when they reclass, it gives them way more options. PS. I am a LI parent who was told this by an Edge parent. Pretty smart if you ask me...
Edge was arguably the top team at Boys Latin
most of the team will head down to the us in 2018 and finish their senior year plus a gap year. Many attend Culver, Trinity Pawling, Deerfield, Hill School or IMG. Funny enough those people don't have the same rules as the college recruiters. Culver was very active this weekend. Also many do their gap at the Hill Academy in Toronto
